The distance between The Marina of Andijk and Lemmer is about 20 miles

The towncenter of Lemmer is very popular with all people involved with watersports. The harbour is also an important exchange point between the IJsselmeer and the Friesian lakes.

What was once a fishermen's village has changed into an allround holiday centre with many sights. You can visit monumental buildings like the Lemstersluis from 1888 and the Dutch Reformed Church from 1717. Walk through the Lange and the Korte Streek and notice the splendid 18th century facades that decorate the buildings. Remarkable to visit is the Woudagemaal which was built in 1920. Because it is the largest steam pumping-station ever build, it has a proud listing on the World Heritage List.

Holiday centre Lemmer knows much hustle and bustle at the locks with sailing boats, probably on their way to the marinas or the adjacent nature areas.
Furthermore, Lemmer has a fine sandy beach, a cosy centre and in the vicinity a camping and bungalow parcs.
