Yacht Charter The Netherlands - sailing area.
Sailing the IJsselmeer
The home port of our fleet is the marina of Andijk. It is situated central of the IJsselmeer!
For example, you can sail to Amsterdam in only five to six hours.
The IJsselmeer is one of the most popular sailing areas in the Netherlands.
The IJsselmeer offers a great number of nice towns and cities.
Beautiful towns and picturesque fishing villages are full of monuments, museums and restaurants.
The ijsselmeer, caused by closing down the Zuiderzee almost
75 years ago, offers you all the pleasantries of an exeptional stay. Natural beauty, historical cities and villages, atractions,
old trades and crafts... wathever you may seek, no doubt you will find it somewhere around the IJsselmeer.
The IJsselmeer, a non-tidal water, is a varied and beautiful holiday area. There is almost always enough wind on
this large lake (1100 km2), but you are never far from the coast. The ijsselmeer ist the largest lake in Western Europe.
It is also possible to sail to the Waddensea (tidal waters),
where you will find a serene calm in a magnificent sailing area, often surounded by seals. You can sail almost
endlessly or visit one of the picturesque Wadden islands.
